Practical skills in Medical Microbiology
Our Medical Microbiology course is designed for graduates and those wishing to transition into a new discipline. You may have come across microbiology through core modules but now learned we use it in a diagnostic laboratory. This course is designed to apply your learned knowledge to the practical side of a microbiology laboratory. Microbiology involves diagnosing infections; by identifying and classifying organisms and carrying out antibiotic susceptibility testing. This is done through the use of traditional and modern diagnostic tools. Biomed Lab Training will equip you with the knowledge, skills and expertise required to start your career in a Microbiology Laboratory.
Case Study
Harsha, BSc graduate
Harsha is a overseas student who came to the UK in search for better job opportunities. When she got
in touch with us she explained her degree was related to Microbiology and she would prefer to persue a career in this.
