12+ Years of Experience
About Us
As a BSc graduate, it became very apparent that university educated me with the knowledge required to step into the world of Biomedical Sciences, however, it was very difficult to secure a placement in my chosen specialism. I realised very quickly that there was a need to assist graduates in securing the practical skills required to obtain a placement in a laboratory. During the pandemic I seized the opportunity and set up a small laboratory where students could learn, train and understand how histology works as this was my chosen discipline. Students that trained with me during this time are now registered Biomedical scientists working in the NHS or private laboratories. Some have even gone on to complete their master’s at university. In June of 2023 I decided to move into a larger laboratory and begin collaborating with Universities and other training providers. Our new laboratory is working towards UKAS accreditation and is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, so students have the benefit of seeing a sample go through the full cycle of histology. As training within the histology discipline grew, a lot of students were enquiring about other disciplines within Biomedical Sciences and as a way of expansion and student interest we are now offering training courses in Blood sciences and Medical Microbiology. As we continue to grow, we wish students to grow with us and therefore conclude that after training is completed students are to keep in touch with us. We encourage regular communication till you land a role in your chosen field. It’s never a ‘goodbye’ from us!
